Discovery Middle School Bands Win Honors at the Festivals of Music in Chicago
Congratulations to the Discovery Band students! In an exciting awards finale, which represented many groups from four states, the eighth grade band won 3rd place standing in the Concert Band I class (the highest division), and the seventh grade band won 1st place in the Concert Band II class.
88.1 Annual Radio Auction
The New 88.1 will have their annual Radio Auction on Saturday May 19, from 9am to 10pm. Listeners will be able to bid on items donated by local businesses.
The auction is WSDP's main fundraiser. The money raised will go toward station operation and equipment upgrades.
